The Shiloh captures the romance of the Old South. This mixed media daybed of wood and steel provides the perfect place to sit by day, sleep by night. It's ideal in a spare bedroom or any room where you want to make the best possible use of your space. Because the Shiloh uses a standard twin-size mattress, it's one of the most comfortable and functional daybeds around. Four rounded finials top off each of the solid 2 5/8" hard wood posts. The slender 1/2" vertical spindles on the hand-wrought grill remind you of an old-fashioned iron fence. This camelback grill features a double rail for strength and stability. The back and sides are embellished with detailed 3/8" scrolls for added appeal.The dual finish for the Shiloh Daybed is a metal sheathed in a dusky, Matte Black color. Designed for maintenance-free wear, the one-step powder coat paint is textured like fine sand. It is particularly striking with the Maple finish. The wood is carefully rubbed with a hand-applied premium furniture maple stain. This creates a soft, sophisticated sheen.

Note:Some Fashion Bed Group Day Beds use link springs instead of box springs to support their mattresses. This allows for enough storage space for a trundle on many models. The trundle comes with a pop-up unit to bring it to the same height as the main mattress, creating a comfortable bed for multiple guests. Many of our day beds come with the link spring included, and if you decide to get the optional trundle, it will also have the link spring it requires.
