We were looking for a storage saving, inexpensive bed for my daughters room. My daughter is three and loves her bed. It takes 2 to build but was simple enough. I would recommend to people on a budget.

I bought 3 of these beds manufactured by South Shore of Canada, one in white (this one)and 2 Sand Castle models in pine finish, because space was limited. The beds are a good value but usually you do get what you pay for thay are laminated particle board but look nice after assembly. Allow a solid 2.5 hours for assembly, unless you are a skilled builder with a helper. The parts for this bed arrived in good condition. If you have limited space, budget and want a first bed for your child that is not too high off the floor (in case the child falls off) then this bed is a good choice. The three drawers are a bit flimsy but functional. I like that they are eco friendly no Formaldehyde, why should we be subjected to this harmful chemical when we don't have to be.

The bed is not too bad overall, acceptable combination of price and quality, looks cute, color is good. But even knowing that the price is pretty good, there is no reason for the bottom support of the drawers to be cut short, so it only held by 2 sides instead of 3. Sloppy workmanship on that part. Plus the bottom support board for the mattress came damaged (not too bad, since I didn't exchanged it, but nevertheless still damaged).

This is great for small spaces. We purchased 2 for our 3 & 4 yr olds who share a small room. They love the drawers & the matching head board holds lots stuff. There is plenty of room to grow into. It was very easy to set up too!

Our 2 year olds room is VERY small. We needed a captain's bed but didn't want to spend a lot since we will most likely buy a "big girl bed" in the next 5 years. The price and look are perfect for her "girly" room and the drawers under the bed are a perfect solution to a small space. She loves it!!! I was able to assemble the whole thing by myself with 2 toddlers running around!
