Bought a Zojirushi breadmaker back in the early 90's. It had one kneading paddle and made the tall loaves. It lasted ten years and I loved it. When I was looking for a new machine, it didn't take much convincing for me to stick with Zojirushi. The new breadmaker makes traditional type loaves and I make all my sandwiches with this bread. It beats paying $4.00 a loaf and tastes much better than premium store bought bread. The breadpan is easier to clean than the old one and the paddles don't embed themselves in the loaves as before.

I use this for most of my bread. I like that I can make full sized loaves. I also like being able to use the dough cycle and then make rolls or smaller loaves in the oven.

Well,this is my first bread machine and I love it! Hubby got it for me (err him) as a early christmas present.I love the way my house smells like a bakery. At first I was very intimidated by this machine, but soon got over it after I made my first loaf bread with it.Wow..it was sooo yummy! I'm making bread every other day now, and my Mom now is wanting to try to make some bread that she can eat(lots of allergies). My kids want to get in on it too! Only thing I dont like is the paddles being stuck in the bread and the holes they leave when you try to get the bread out. I wish there was a way to remove them before baking or maybe make them retractable prior to the baking cycle. But all in all we're having fun baking up a storm with it!Sooo happy I chose this one after a lot of comparison shopping (weeks of it) and read reviews of all that fit our needs. I just feel the more I use it the better I will get with it thus the breads will be even better! Just go ahead and bite the bullit and spend the extra money on this very sturdy machine with a strong motor that will give you years of service.

I read many reviews for this machine and I was unsure of which one to buy. I have no regrets. The only thing is finding the right recipes. Many are included with instruction manuel but some of the best have come from online recipes. Don't be afraid to try diferent recipes and use the dough cycle. The instruction manuel tells you what order to place the ingredients into the pan and this seems to be most important.
