This is a high quality product, made of good quality materials and sturdy. It seems to meet my needs. Compared to the less expensive heavy duty plastic models, it takes a bit of getting used to, but outperforms by far. It's easy to manage, flexible with useful parts. The only drawback is that if using deep large pots like stock pots, the stalk of the hand blender tends to be short at times.
