The Impressa J5 is Jura’s first compact automatic coffee center expressing a new design philosophy. One-Touch Buttons: Six one-touch beverage buttons (one espresso, two espresso, one coffee, two coffees, hot water, steam) are pre-programmed to deliver all your hot drinks with a push of a button. All buttons are individually programmable: Four coffee strengths for the one-cup buttons, two coffee temperatures, three hot water output temperature, cup sizes from 0.5 oz to 8 oz for single cup coffee buttons, 0.5 to 8 oz for double cup coffee buttons (total of up to 16 oz. of coffee), 0.5 to 15 oz. for hot water button, 2 to 120 seconds for steam button.
LED Display: All functions and settings are clearly communicated in the 10-digit, alpha-numeric LED screen. Cup size displays in ounces or milliliters, and instructions can be displayed five languages (English, French, Italian, German, and Dutch).
Digital clock: The 24-hour digital clock/timer includes auto-on and auto-off features - No need to wait for the 2 minute warm up in the morning!
Rotary dial: Adding a new level of convenience, the well-designed and user-friendly rotary dial allows you to override any settings for coffee and steam. Pushing the integrated rotary button allows you to enter 11 different programming options.
Ceramic Valve Technology: This new internal technology shortens the flow of coffee resulting in hotter temperature and more crema in your cup for the best in high-end pressure brewed coffee, ristretto, espresso, latte, cappuccino, café mocha latte and more.
Butterfly Coffee Spout: A world’s first: the dual coffee spout design moves up and down AND in and out to accommodate a larger range of different cups.
Triple Hot Water Temperature: The unique triple temperature setting for the hot water out-put produces a hotter Café Americano, pre-warms your cups faster and accommodates a larger variety of tea preparation.
Commercial-Quality Burr Grinder: In addition to being able to choose your ideal coffee strength, cup size, etc, the J5 allows you to conveniently select from six fineness settings for any type of coffee bean, from light to dark roasts.
ThermoBlock Heating Systems: The J5 features two independent stainless steel-lined heating systems for coffee preparation and steam production. There is never any downtime between brewing coffee and frothing milk. All coffee and frothing operations are fully programmable.
Never run out of beans: Never make a weak cup of coffee again! An invisible beam senses the amount of beans in the bean container and reminds you to refill before its empty.

FrothXpress PLUS System: The frothXpress PLUS system helps you to prepare perfect cappuccinos and lattes cup after cup. It automatically siphons milk from the cold milk container, combines it with hot steam and delivers hot, frothed milk into your cappuccino cups. Turn the dial of the frothXpress from “cappuccino” to “latte” and the frothXpress Plus will deliver hot steamed milk with very little or no froth for that delicious latte.
