This is my first crock pot, so I can't make comparisons, but I love everything I have cooked in it so far.

It was a Christmas gift to my son. He seems to be enjoying it. I have not heard any complaints. He works nights so he puts food in the crock pot when he gets home in the morning. Lunch and dinner are ready for him when he gets up.

I've seen crock pots that are bigger and wider for less or the same amount of money. If I had purchased it at a store, I would have returned it and gotten a better deal. I chose not to go through the hassle of returning by mail. This is the disadvantage of purchasing products online. You never can be sure that you are getting the best deal.
