These are pretty nice snack tables. The design is attractive and contemporary. They are a good height for use as a snack/dinner table couch-side. A little too high to use as an end table. They are fairly solid and heavy, and construction is better than most folding tables I have owned in the past. I use them every day for eating dinner or lunch in the living room, as my dining set is kind of inconvenient. Plus my son loves to watch movies while we eat (don't criticize my parenting!). He sometimes uses the table to do homework on, but they are a little high for that if your kid is small. I also use one of the tables as sort of a side desk extension to hold a computer monitor and keyboard. (I have the table set up perpendicularly to the desk so they form an L-shaped work space.) The keyboard and mouse barely fit on the table, but the setup works well enough for the purposes I need.
On the negative side, it's too bad they don't come with a stand. It would make it a lot easier to store when not in use. But they are advertised as not having one, so you can't complain about that if you went ahead and bought them. They are, as I said, very heavy. I live in a 3rd floor apartment and I had to break open the shipping carton and carry them up 2 at a time. Although the tables are constructed of solid wood, the wood is not finished very well, so it scratches easily and does not repel water. You really have to use coasters with beverages. Another thing I find really annoying is that the tables fold up immediately upon lifting the table, so you can't easily move them with anything on them. You have to take everything off, move the table and then unfold the legs again. A petty thing, but annoying nonetheless. Oh, and they are the slightest bit wobbly. I haven't tried to tighten up the joints, though, so maybe that would help.
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase, but I can't give them 5 stars because of the finish problem and the legs folding up.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt -- within the time estimated on the site. If I remember correctly, I specified in the "special requests" section that I lived in a 3rd floor unit & would need assistance getting the tables upstairs, but the delivery person would not even come inside the front door. He just set the box on the front step and I had to move it inside myself. The tables were in perfect condition when I opened the box, and no assembly was required to use them. Oh, this is weird, but the tabletops are wrapped in cellophane and the legs are attached through the cellophane wrapper, so you have to cut around the legs with a jiffy knife to get the wrapping off.
